Powershred 225i Shredder provides high-performance commercial shredding. Jam Proof System eliminates paper jams and powers through tough jobs. SilentShred offers ultra-quiet performance for shared work spaces. Patented SafeSense Technology stops shredding when hands touch the paper opening. Energy Savings System reduces energy consumption by up to 70 percent, compared to conventional commercial shredders during normal usage. The continuous-duty motor offers nonstop shredding for 3 to 5 users. High-performance, strip-cut shredder shreds up to 20 sheets per pass into 7/32" strips (Security Level 2) at 16' per minute. 9-1/2" wide paper entry accepts letter-size or legal-size documents. Durable steel cutters also shred credit cards, staples, paper clips and CDs/DVDs. Use 16-gallon removable basket for easy waste disposal. Shredder is made of plastic and metal.
